Who is Mark?
Mark Hedley is a web designer and developer based in Mirfield, West Yorkshire in the UK providing bespoke web site design and development services to companies, businesses and individuals.
He is an experienced and flexible IT professional with strong technical and analytical abilities having worked in the finance, retail credit and utility industries for the past 22 years. He has worked on website development for approximately 10 years acquiring extensive knowledge and skills to develop websites that usually exceed client's requirements.
In terms of specific skills Mark is proficient in server-side scripting languages. This allows him to develop not only simple one page sites with a contact form but feature-rich dynamic applications that utilise a back-end data store. For example this could be used to display a list of services or products that are updated by the client.
Often, "off-the-shelf" software solutions can prove to be overly complex and technical, and are unlikely to fit your requirements exactly, when a bespoke system can do just that. Mark also has experience with many of the mainstream content management solutions, e.g. WordPress, and can provide sites and themes built around these products if required.
In spare time...
If not working on computers Mark spends more time than he should playing on computers! Such is his passion for technology that when not working he is always researching and investigating what is new and exciting in the world of Information Technology. All the time looking for the next new 'thing' that gives him the ability to offer an even better service to his customers.
Apart from that he enjoys riding his Harley Davidson, walking and spending time in the kitchen, he can knock-up a mean chocolate sponge cake!
